Missionary Ministry

The Missionary Ministry of Mount Zion is comprised of a small group of active members, but we have the support of our entire church.

Mission statement

We believe our mission is spelled out in Acts 1:8, "But ye shall receive power, after that, the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witness unto me both in Jerusalem and in Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

Our primary focus of support and outreach is to show God's love.  We begin first within our church family.  We visit the sick and shut-in to help uplift their spirits and to share our love; we support bereaved family members by providing meals, attending funeral services, or simply assisting with the repass.  We call members to lend a listening ear or a shoulder.  We send cards to those near and far.  We even reach out to past members of Mount Zion to show we are still thinking of them and praying for them.  The Missionary Ministry also supports several local and foreign mission projects.
