Young At Heart Ministry: serving with love and compassion

Our Young At Heart Ministry has been actively involved in making a difference in our community through various service projects. Recently, they completed a heartfelt initiative of donating toiletries to the Treasurer House, an organization dedicated to supporting homeless students and their families. This generous act of kindness has provided much-needed relief and comfort to those in need, demonstrating the true spirit of service and compassion.
The next ministry project is equally inspiring. The Young At Heart Ministry will be collecting coins in baby bottles to donate to the Women's Choice Pregnancy Center. This center offers vital support and resources to expectant mothers, helping them make informed choices and providing care during a crucial time in their lives. By participating in this project, we can all contribute to a cause that empowers women and promotes the sanctity of life.
As we reflect on these acts of service, let us be reminded of the words from the scripture:
"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." - Hebrews 13:16
Additionally, an inspirational quote to encourage us in our endeavors:
"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." - Mahatma Gandhi
We invite everyone to join us in these meaningful projects and continue to spread love and kindness within our community. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who need it most.
